Clement Resavy, “Clem” to his family and friends died unexpectedly the morning of May 27, 2012, with his wife by his side.
Clem was born June 11, 1936, in Duryea, Pa. After serving in the United States Army, he married his high school sweetheart, Virginia Niewiadomski and moved to Audubon, Pa. to begin his career with the United States Postal Service. He raised two children, became a member of the Knights of Columbus, 4th degree and eventually earned a degree from Ursinus College. He then moved his family to Arizona to continue his Postal career as the Southwestern Regional Budget Director.
Upon retirement, Clem and his wife jointly began a second career as campground managers for RRM (Recreation Resource Management). Upon final retirement in Show Low, they enjoyed traveling whether it was by cruise line or by airplane to include Alaska and Hawaii. He loved camping in the mountains of Arizona and shopping for the best deals.
Clem is survived by his wife of 52 years; two children; and three grandchildren; daughter Marissa Rona Hack (Jeffrey); and granddaughter Sierra of Audubon, Pa.; son Mark Clement Resavy (Diane) of Pansy Ala., grandchildren: Zachary of Oklahoma, and Kyra of Colorado.
Memorial Services will be privately held.
