The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona ~ 06/01/2012 Samuel Raye Taylor, 50, died Friday, May 25, 2012, at his home in Concho. He was born Nov. 14, 1961, in San Diego, Calif., the son of James Walker Taylor and Vivian Lee Miller Taylor. Samuel was a tradesman in construction. “Our free spirited soul is now free to fly home. He was a man who loved his family more than life itself; a man who loved good music. He was the most amazing hippie ever who was always smiling and always happy to see friends and family.” He is survived by his brothers: Cecil Taylor, Michael Taylor, and Charlie Taylor; sisters: Pamela Hodges and Gail Woods; nieces: Jennie Taylor, Kristy Sherman, Lacey Hodges, Amanda Lindsey; nephews: James Taylor and Rex Cravat; and many grand-nieces and grand-nephews.
