MUELLER, Yvonne Jeanette

West Valley View, Avondale, Arizona Friday, June 01, 2012 Yvonne Jeanette Mueller, 69, of Buckeye died of cancer May 22, 2012, in Buckeye. Mrs. Mueller was born May 14, 1943, in Oakland, Calif. She moved to Arizona in 1970. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints West Park Ward Buckeye Stake Center. She attended Brigham Young University, the University of Utah and Fresno State, where she received her bachelor's degree in psychology. Later, she received her master's in education from Northern Arizona University. She taught high school science for 20 years at Alhambra High School and then returned to teach in the Buckeye Union High School District after one year of retirement. She organized and took her students on trips to Glacier, Yosemite, Bryce, Zion and Yellowstone National Parks. She is survived by four daughters, Shalom Bonham, Katherine Dudley Jenifer and Allyson; two sons, Aaron and Clinton; one sister, Adrienne Leona Badger; 13 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. Funeral services will be at 6 p.m. June 11 at West Park Ward Buckeye Stake Center, 425 S. Estrella Parkway in Goodyear. The Rev. Jared Schank will officiate.
