Florence J. Taber, 87, of Goodyear died May 27, 2012.
Mrs. Taber was born Dec. 6, 1924, in Cooper, Texas, to Isaac Chandler and Edith Hill.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy E.
She is survived by two daughters, Marsha G. Durda of Surprise and Lori A. Taber-Oyler of Avondale; one son, Gary R. of Goodyear; two sisters, Glenelle Dickerson of Buckeye and Faye Ellen Hill of Sun City; four brothers, Billy Bob Chandler of Sun City, John W. Hill of Phoenix, Roger D. Hill of Peoria and Larry N. Hill; 13 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today at First Southern Baptist Church, 1001 N. Central Ave. in Avondale. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at the church.
