June E. Scoble died June 2, 2012, at her home in Prescott with her beloved John holding her hand. She was born June 8, 1928, in Larksville, Pa., the daughter of Charles and Margaret (Michael) Koons. June was 83 years old.
June and John moved to Prescott in 1971 from California. She was a homebody who loved her grandchildren and great grandchildren, but she was proudest of her 62-year marriage to John. They were married Feb. 4, 1950.
June is survived by John; daughters, Judith (Carl) King of Chino Valley and Kathleen (David) Andrus of Omaha, Neb.; and son, John (Cindy) of Mena, Ark.; seven grandchildren; and four great grandchildren.
The family suggests memorials in June's name to Good Samaritan Hospice, 1065 Ruth, Prescott, AZ 86301.
