The Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, Arizona Wednesday, June 06, 2012 Esther Marie (Leighty) Kropf, 94 years old, passed away May 27. She was born in Albany, Ore., Sept. 28, 1917 to Nicholas and Magdalena Leighty. Esther is survived by her children James and Bette Kropf of Oregon; Carolyn and Gustavo Verdugo of Mexico; Lyle and Nancy Kropf, and Marlene Kropf of Wickenburg; Kathleen and Ken Martin of Pennsylvania; and Kristina Kropf of Las Vegas, Nev. She was preceded in death by her husband Leo Kropf. Services were held at Berean Mennonite Church, Wednesday, May 30 with burial at Wickenburg Municipal Cemetery. Memorial contributions can be made to Berean Mennonite Church to buy Bibles and literature for missions in Mexico and Peru.
