Today's News-Herald, Lake Havasu City, AZ - Published Saturday, June 2, 2012 - Elaine Skagen, 61, of Bouse passed away June 1, 2012 at the Polidori House, Hospice of Havasu. She fought a twenty-eight month battle with cancer with everything she had. Elaine Ann Clarke was born March 18, 1950 at Snoqualmie, Wash. to Floyd and Florence (Brothers) Clarke. She married Patrick Skagen at Coeur d’Alene, Idaho May 2, 1977. They lived in various locations in western Washington, then settled at Ocean Shores, Wash. for ten years before retiring to Bouse, Ariz. She is survived by her husband, Patrick; father, Floyd Clarke; brothers, Don Clarke and Ron Clarke; sisters, Diane Gene and Leslie Fisher, all living in western Washington.
