Today's News-Herald, Lake Havasu City, AZ - Published Tuesday, June 5, 2012 - Thomas (Tom) Lee Brown, 75, passed away June 2, 2012 with his family by his side, at his home in Lake Havasu City. He was born to the late Harold (Brownie) and Hattie (Schmidt) Brown, May 1, 1937, in Minneapolis, Minn. Tom married his high school sweetheart, Marcia D. Alstrand, in 1957 and they lived together in Northern California before relocating to Lake Havasu City in 1995. Tom loved to stay busy by working crossword puzzles, playing scrabble along with many card games, cribbage and billiards. He leaves many cherished memories to his wife, Marcia, and three children, Michelle and Michael Van Pelt, of Lake Havasu City, Thomas and Brenda Brown, of Mohave Valley, and Jay and Janice Brown, of Lake Havasu City; sister, Barbara and Donald LeMasurier, of Lake Havasu City; four grandchildren, two step-grandchildren; and five step great-grandchildren; along with many nieces, nephews and other loving relatives.
