Owens Livingston Mortuary Show Low, Arizona Sharon Marie Thomas October 23, 1949 ~ June 5, 2012 Sharon Marie Thomas died at her home in Sun Valley, Navajo County, Arizona on Tuesday, June 5, 2012. She was 62 years old. Sharon was born on October 23, 1949 in Battle Mountain, Nevada. Sharon is now reunited with the true love of her life, her husband, Charles "Buddy" Thomas. She absolutely loved the "cowboy" and western style of life. Sharon deeply cared for, and had an unconditional love for her children and grandchildren and she will be greatly missed by them as well as her friends. "May she soar like an eagle above us." Sharon is survived by her 2 sons: John Ganaden of Phoenix, Arizona, Daniel Ganaden of Prescott, Arizona; former daughter-in-law, Sylvia (Frank) Slater of Sun Valley, Arizona; a sister, Myra Black of Texas and 4 grandchildren. A graveside services will be held at 10:00 A.M., Tuesday, June 12, 2012 at the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona, 23029 N. Cave Creek Road in Phoenix, Arizona. The interment will immediately follow and she will be laid to rest alongside her husband, whom she has missed to dearly.
