LEARY, Scott Carlton

The Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona Wednesday, January 9, 2008 Scott Carlton Leary June 18, 1969 - Dec. 26, 2007 Scott, 38, of Prescott, Ariz., passed from this earth in his home on Wednesday, Dec. 26, 2007. He was born in Brookefield, Conn., and was the son of Susan Mersheimer Leary and Walter Mersheimer. He was known for his love of family and his quirky sense of humor. Scott was an avid golfer and won many awards in various golf tournaments. Scott is survived by his beloved Stacy Lynn Leary; adored children Timmy and Alyssa Leary; in-laws Sharon and Anthony Marsh ("Mother and Dad"); Jason ("brother from another mother"); Jeanna Henshaw; Kristy Blevins ("Sis"); nephews Gene Henshaw and Blake Blevins; and grandparents Dan and Carmen ("Nana") Johnston. He was preceded in death by his father, Walter Mersheimer, and grandparents Arthur and Grace Langsdorf. Services will be 1 p.m. Friday, Jan. 11, 2008, at the Hampton Funeral Home. Burial will be immediately following services at Pioneer Home Cemetery, Prescott, Ariz. In lieu of flowers, Chase Bank is accepting donations for Timmy and Alyssa Leary.
