Bunker Family Funeral & Cremation Mesa, Arizona Jakelle Michelle Westergard October 7, 1994 ~ June 5, 2012 JaKelle Michelle Westergard, age 17, a righteous daughter of our Heavenly Father, peacefully returned home on the morning of June 5th, 2012 with her family at her side. Born on October 7, 1994 in Mesa, Arizona. JaKelle was the youngest of four children of Lynn and Jana Westergard. She had such an absolutely beautiful smile and a contagious personality that made all those around her feel special. JaKelle truly loved life, spending time with her family and friends and dancing. JaKelle started dancing at an early age and spent many years traveling and performing as a part of Campbell's Dance Studio. She was a member of the Mesa High School Euporea Dance Team-time spent with her dance team and performing was truly her "Euphoria". Her most precious possessions were her family, friends, the Savior and her Heavenly Father. She loved them and she knew that they loved her. JaKelle was such a strong young women who had tremendous faith, courage and trust. She was our Princess-now destined to become a Queen. Her own wondrous earthly story has been no less than miraculous, and now we as a family cannot wait until we can join her in her "Happily Ever After". Jakelle is survived by her parents, Lynn and Jana Westergard, her brothers, Jared (Lexi), Josh (Amy), Jesse and her dog JJ. The family wishes to express our heartfelt affection and gratitude for the months of loving and compassionate service provided by the staff of Phoenix Children's Hospital as well as our appreciation to Cardon Children's Medical Center and Mayo Clinic. Funeral Services will be held at 11 AM on Saturday June 9, 2012 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints located at 4640 East Holmes Avenue in Mesa. A viewing/visitation will be held at the church Friday from 6-8 PM and Saturday from 10-10:50 AM prior to the services. Interment at Mountain View Cemetery. Arrangements by Bunker's Garden Chapel.
