Ricardo "Doggie" Mendoza Jaquez, 53, of Avondale died June 5, 2012, at Banner Estrella Medical Center. 

Mr. Jaquez was born May 27, 1959, in Pecos, Texas, to Simon and Josefa. He moved to Arizona in 1989, and was a fuel tank truck driver. He was a member of Lifeway Assembly of God in Buckeye.

He is survived by his wife, Jeannette; four daughters, Shealin, Amy, Lucy and Maggie; three sons, Jacob, Derrick and Manny; two sisters, Brenda and Belma; five brothers, Roy, Robert, Simon Jr., Randy and Jaime; and seven grandchildren.

A memorial service will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Skyway Church, 14900 W. Van Buren St. in Goodyear. The Rev. George Molina will officiate.
