Mohave Daily News, Mohave Valley, AZ - Published in Mohave Daily News Online from June 8 to June 15, 2012 - Wanda Lee (Gifford) Mace, age 73, a 33-year resident of Mohave Valley, Ariz., passed from her home into the arms of Jesus on Wednesday, June 6, 2012. Wanda was born in Las Vegas, N.M., on February 8, 1939, to Merton and Demetra Gifford. She graduated from Farmington High School and was married to the love of her life, Harold Mace, in November, 1957. She worked for the Mohave Valley School District, eventually serving as the District Manager for food services. Throughout her life, Wanda was involved in children's ministry as a Sunday School teacher and Good News Club counselor. Wanda loved the Lord and served Him throughout her life. Wanda is survived by her husband of 55 years, Harold Mace of Mohave Valley, Ariz.; daughter, Dedee (Tim) Toppas of Bishop, Calif.; son, Tom (Tami Litton) Mace of Mohave Valley; father, Merton Gifford of Albuqerque, N.M.; and six grandchildren, Brooke Toppas, Bree Toppas, Travis Mace, Cheyenne Mace, Tristian Mace and Lexi Litton. Wanda's life and love will be long remembered by family and friends. An open house will be held in Wanda's memory from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 9, 2012, at 1315 Vacation Drive, Mohave Valley, Ariz.
