A Wise Choice Cremation and Funeral Services Mesa, Arizona Barbara Kay McConnell November 7, 1936 ~ June 10, 2012 Barbara Kay McConnell, 75, of Richmond, Michigan lost her battle with lung cancer on June 10, 2012. She was born in Ferndale, Michigan on November 7, 1936 to Hellen and Orval Rumble. She was married to Paul McConnell for 56 wonderful years. They had two children, son, Jeffrey McConnell and daughter, Kelly Ertman. Barbara has a brother, Orville Rumble of Harrison Township, Michigan. Barb and Paul had an antique mall in Richmond, Michigan for 23 years. She made friends easily and loved to talk and laugh. She was a wonderful swimmer and excerciser, enjoyed water aerobics, a "weight watcher" for 44 years. She was a born again Christian member of the Columbus Bible Church for many years. In addition to her husband, children and brother, Barbara is survived by 7 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. A memorial service will be held in Gold Canyon, AZ and in Richmond, MI at a later date.
