Arizona Silver Belt, Globe, Arizona Wednesday, June 13, 2012 Tempe — Dean A. Wood, age 59, passed away May 13, 2012 at Hospice of the Valley Caring Center in Tempe, Ariz. He was born on Dec. 1, 1952 in Marshall, Minn. His family moved to Globe, Ariz. on June 7, 1967. In Globe, Dean painted houses and did yard work. In Minnesota, he worked for an oil company. Dean had been very ill for the past three years. Dean moved to Apache Junction around 2000. He later moved in with his mother, brother, sister, and niece and nephew in Chandler, Ariz. in November of 2011, and stayed there for six months and had been in and out of the hospital every two weeks. Dean leaves behind two daughters, Rachel of Wallmar, Minn. and Theresa of Levelton, Texas, as well as two grandchildren, Zoey Lynn and Daniel. Dean was cremated.
