GIFFORD, Yolanda

The Arizona Republic, Phoenix, Arizona ~ December 2006 Yolanda Gifford, 82, passed away at her home in Westbrook Village in Peoria on 12/26/06. Born in New York City, New York on 12/12/24. She is survived, loved and greatly missed by husband of 56 years, Carl Gifford, son Gary of Anthem, son Mark of Las Vegas, daughter Teresa Colman of Phoenix, four granddaughters, one grandson, six great-grandsons and one great-granddaughter. She spent nearly 20 years in Washington School District, with the last years spent at Richard E. Miller in the Gifted Program. A memorial service will be held at Phoenix Memorial Cemetery, 200 West Beardsley on Jan. 3rd at 3:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, she wanted contributions made to National Wildlife Federation, P.O. Box 1637, Merrifield, VA 22116-1637.
