Nathan Dean Johnson, 60, of Glendale, Arizona passed away on June 30, 2007. He was born in Chanute, Kansas and was raised in Salina, Kansas.
He served in the USAF for two years in Vietnam and worked for 33 years in various capacities for Phoenix Newspapers, Inc. He enjoyed flying and working on private airplanes as well as building models of his favorite airplanes. He was also an inventor and held numerous patents.
He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Marie; daughter, Erin; son, Paul; daughter-in-law, Stephanie; five brothers: Sherman, Gaylord, Bradford, Darwin and Virgil; his beloved dog, Kita and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services are to be held on Friday, July 6 at 10 a.m. with a visitation one hour prior, at Heritage Funeral Chapel, 6830 W. Thunderbird Rd in Peoria, AZ.
