Beryl Aleck Stromberg, 78, passed away peacefully on January 4, 2005.
Beryl was born in Iron River. Michigan February 1, 1926. He was a veteran of WWII, where he served in the Pacific Theater. Upon returning home he met and married Marilyn Welton. They lived in Iron River where he helped his father run the families various businesses. Beryl and his wife, Marilyn, moved to Arizona in 1961, where Beryl was self employed.
He eventually worked for and retired from Leaseway Transportation in 1985. He and Marilyn enjoyed a long and healthy retirement. He is survived by his 4 children, daughter Debra and husband Christopher McClellan, son Steven, son Scott and wife Lori Jill, and daughter Deanna and husband Jim Pressley. 10 grandchildren, Jennifer, Jennette, Benjamin, Cory, Courtney, Jason, Erin, Melanie, Tanner, and Blake.
He is preceded in death by his wife of 55 years, Marilyn Stromberg. Parents, Aleck and Anna Stromberg, brothers, James, Russell and Irving and sister Marjorie Fields.
