West Valley View, Avondale, Arizona Friday, June 15, 2012 Owen S.W. Bowring Jr., 75, of Goodyear died June 8, 2012, at Goodyear Assisted Living Home of complications from a stomach infection. Mr. Bowring was born Jan. 25, 1937, in Portland, Maine. He moved to Arizona in 1975. He served three years in the U.S. Marine Corps, and was retired from Motorola, where he worked in facilities. He is survived by three daughters, Dierdra L., Nicole A. and Marnie L.; two sons, Owen S.W. III and Derek T.; three sisters, Dolores Williams, Roberta Morin and Sheila Anthony, all of Maine; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. Services will be at Veterans Memorial Cemetery at a later date. Memorials can be sent to the Diabetes Association at www.diabetes.org.
