Tom Lefebvre, 51, of Prescott, Ariz. died suddenly of a heart attack Feb. 4, 2008.
Tom was the best - a great friend, father, husband, son, brother, co-worker and neighbor. Growing up here, he was an excellent athlete, and a magnet for pretty girls. He could drive the wheels off anything that had wheels and fly the dickens out of any small plane he ever climbed into.
Workwise, he flew cropdusters in southern Arizona for 20 years and - on either end of that career - was a meticulous carpenter who helped build or remodel some of Prescott's finest homes. In his spare time, he was a top-notch skier and river-runner who took full advantage of the American southwest.
As a human being, Tom somehow inherited a truly magical combination: his dad's swashbuckling nature, and his mom's goodness of heart. He was trueblue to the core. He packed a lot of living into the short time he had here. And he will be sorely missed.
Survivors include his granddaughters, Hailey and Emily Lalley and Alexis Lefebvre; his children, Danny, Chris and Jill; his former wife, Lisa Ford; his brother Mike; and his parents, Paul and Martha.
Tom's little brother Doug was taken by an ultralight crash in 2002.
