Griffith Mortuary, Kearny, Arizona Tuesday, June 19, 2012 Cira Z Garcia, 87, of Hayden, AZ passed away on Monday, June 18, 2012 in Queen Creek, AZ under hospice care. Cira was born the daughter of Marciano and Julia (Benavidez) Zambrano in Monterrey, Mexico on December 24, 1924. Cira grew up and attended school in Monterrey. She married Carlos Garcia in 1944. They moved to Hayden, AZ in 1958 where they made their home. Cira enjoyed cooking, going to the casino, watching her soaps, music and dancing and most of all spending time with her grandchildren, making them enchiladas on their birthdays. Cira is survived by her sons: Herminio (Dora), Dudleyville, AZ, Carlos (Lila), Hayden, AZ, Jose Luis (Armida), Hayden, AZ and Ricardo (Frances), Mesa, AZ; 16 grandchildren; and 20 great grandchildren. Cira was preceded in death by her parents; husband: Carlos; daughter: Sylvia Diaz; grandson: Herminio Garcia; one brother; and one sister. Intermnet will be at the Mountain View Cemetery in Hayden, Az.
