EGGLESTON, Dorothy

The Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona Wednesday, June 20, 2012 Dorothy Eggleston, 90, passed away on June 14, 2012, at home in Wilhoit, Ariz., with her family around her. She was born on June 7, 1922, in Grand Forks, N.D. Dorothy had four children by Earl, her first husband. She later married Jim Eggleston. In addition to raising her children, her main occupation was working as a secretary for Equable Life Insurance for 25 years. Dorothy made friends easily, and had fond memories of the good times she had with them in school and throughout her life. She loved visiting family and enjoyed talking about the times everyone got together during the holidays. She enjoyed reading and music, especially soft music and hymns from Lawrence Welk. Her most proud accomplishment was her family. Her life was worthwhile, seeing and encouraging her children and grandchildren. Dorothy is survived by her children, Doug, Steve, Russell and Roger; 10 granddaughters; 10 grandsons; and 10 great grandchildren. A service for Dorothy will be at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday, June 30, 2012, at Hampton Funeral Home, 240 S. Cortez St., Prescott, Ariz. Services entrusted to Hampton Funeral Home.
