YOUNG, John

The Arizona Republic, Phoenix, Arizona December 2011 John Young 89 passed away on December 22, 2011, resident of Phoenix, AZ and formerly of Oswego, IL. Mr. Young was a retired Telecommunications Engineer for Automatic Electric Company where he was awarded over 30 patents in his 39 year career. He was a Veteran of the US Army Air Force, achieving the rank of Captain, and serving as a Pilot during WW II, flying 69 combat missions in the South Pacific. He is dearly missed by his wife, 3 sons, 7 grandchildren and 1 Great-granddaughter.
