Today's News-Herald, Lake Havasu City, AZ - Published Saturday, June 23, 2012 - Andrew Michael Valenzuela, Jr., age two, of Needles, Calif., passed away June 18, 2012 in Lake Havasu City. Andrew was born September 7, 2009 in Fort Mohave to Chelsea Miranda and Andrew Valenzuela, Sr. Little Andrew was an angel; loving, helpful, polite and a delight to be with. He was a basketball player and had a throwing arm that was unbelievable. His best friend was his twin sister, Alicia. They played, protected and loved each other deeply. Lil Andrew loved being surrounded by his family, especially all of his uncles. He grew his wings and flew away from us; he will never be forgotten and will be loved forever. He is survived by his mother, Chelsea Miranda, of Needles, Calif.; father, Andrew Valenzuela, of Mohave Valley; twin sister, Alicia Valenzuela, of Needles, Calif.; grandfather, Nick Miranda, of Needles, Calif.; great-grandparents, Mike and Rita Miranda, of Needles, Calif., Joe and Cindy David of Guthrie, Okla., and John and Elsie Rubacava, of Mohave Valley; aunts and uncles Selina Valenzuela, of Mohave County, Nicholas Miranda, of Needles, Calif., Michael Miranda, of Needles, Calif., and Anthony Sanchez, of Mohave Valley. Andrew was preceded in death by a grandmother, Trina Rubacava. A memorial service is scheduled for Wednesday, June 27, 2012 at 5:30 pm at St. Ann’s Catholic Church, in Needles, Calif.
