West Valley View, Avondale, Arizona Tuesday, June 19, 2012 Edward Bejcek, 76, of Goodyear died June 14, 2012, at West Valley Hospital. Mr. Bejcek was born Dec. 10, 1935, in Lakewood, Ohio, to Edward and Clarice. He was on the track teams for high school, college and the Air Force, where he served as a survival instructor. He was a corrosion engineering consultant until he retired and moved to Arizona, where he was a member of the Pebble Creek Singers. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Janet; one daughter, Karen; and one grandchild. Visitation will be from 4 to 6 p.m. Wednesday at Thompson's Valley West Funeral Chapel, 926 S. Litchfield Road in Goodyear. A service will follow at 6 p.m. Memorials can be sent to the Arizona Humane Society at www.azhumane.org.
