The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona ~ 06/26/2012 Donald Paul Burbach, 81, died June 21, 2012, at his daughter Susan’s home in Eagar. He was born March 28, 1931, in Marinette, Wis. the son of John and Lillian Burbach. Don served his country as an air-controlman in the U.S. Navy from April 26, 1950 through Feb. 25, 1954. Don was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. His family always felt they were more important to him than anything else in life. He left them a great legacy of love. He is survived by his wife, Beverly Joan Burbach of Eagar; son Donald Paul Burbach II of Miss.; daughters: Cindy Lee Furr, Billy Jo Burbach both of Okla., and Susan Marie Phelps of Eagar; brothers: Robert Burbach Newberry of Michigan, George Burbach of Florida; sisters Helen Jankowski, Detroit, Michigan and Lillian Pentland of Newberry, Mich.; 19 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren. Don was preceded in death by his parents, brother John Burbach, sister Cecilia Bliss, and grandson William Dwayne Harris. Burnham Mortuary of Eagar handled arrangements.
