The Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, Arizona Wednesday, June 27, 2012rematory William Robert Subers (Bill), 54, of Yarnell, Ariz., lost his fight with cancer June 14 in the care of Hospice of The Valley. Bill was born July 12, 1957 in Prescott, Ariz. Bill was preceded in death by both parents Charles A. and LaVena E. Subers, and his oldest brother George K. Subers. He is survived by sisters Charlotte Jones and Lucy Schaller of Pahrump, Nev.; Nancy Little of Dewey, Ariz.; and Ada Renander of Phoenix, Ariz.; brother Mel Subers of Maricopa, Ariz.; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Bill was a driller all of his life having drilled water wells around Arizona, Colorado, Utah, and Nevada. He passionately loved prospecting for gold, and he did so until his health declined to a stage that he couldn’t any longer. Bill will be missed by all his many friends and family members. A memorial of remembrance in celebration of Bill’s life will be held in Prescott in mid-July. Anyone who wishes to attend may contact family for more details.
