The Verde Independent, Cottonwood, Arizona Tuesday, June 26, 2012 Eleanor Ann Darby, 91, passed away on June 21, 2012. She was born in February 12, 1921 in Rochester, New York to Mr. and Mrs. G. Harold Vincent. Eleanor is survived by daughters Margaret Hemmer and Betsy Lehmar; 5 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren; Holly Samples and husband Ken Samples of Cottonwood and Cody Hemmer Jackson. Eleanor loved her family. She took Holly at age 14 to Canada and Heather, daughter of Margaret Hemmer, at age 10 to Hawaii. She loved to spend time doing things with her grandchildren. She enjoyed hobbies and needle point crafts. Eleanor will be deeply missed by all her family and friends. There are no public services planned.
