VALENZUELA, Eric Brandon


Today's News-Herald, Lake Havasu City, AZ - Published Thursday, June 28, 2012 - Eric Brandon Valenzuela passed away on June 23, 2012 in Phoenix, Ariz., at the age of 39. Eric was born Nov. 15, 1972, in Hemet, Calif., to Manuel and Cheryl (Von Driska) Valenzuela. Eric moved to Lake Havasu City shortly after high school graduation in 1992. He was co-owner of the Bridgewater Motel, Amberwood Development and also was a Realtor with Keller-Williams. Eric was a member of Calvary Baptist Church and while living in Hemet in his younger years, he was a member of DeMolay, which is a part of the Masonic Lodge for younger people. Eric was especially proud of earning his pilot’s license and enjoyed flying to various destinations. He also loved boating, jeeping, snow skiing and camping with his friends and family. Eric was a very devoted husband, father and son. His family was very important to him, and he will be deeply missed. Eric is survived by his loving wife of six years, Mickel; daughters, Mykenah and Lauryn; his parents, Manuel and Barbara Valenzuela, of Golden Valley, Ariz.; Cheryl and Robert Miller, of Lake Havasu City; and his uncle, Darrell Von Driska, of Hemet, Calif. A celebration of life will be Saturday, at 1 p.m. at Calvary Baptist Church. Pastor Chad Garrison will offer words of comfort.
