Today's News-Herald, Lake Havasu City, AZ - Published Tuesday, July 3, 2012 - Julie Lynn (Collins) Erickson went home to the angels June 23, 2012. She was born April 26, 1969, the daughter of Carter Collins and Janice Kahn. She attended San Gorgonio High School and graduated from Los Amigo's High School. She obtained certification to teach Pilates from the University of Las Vegas. Her whole career was physical fitness and she opened her first Pilates studio in 1997. Eventually she opened a full service gym, Mind & Body Resort, in Lake Havasu City. She loved helping others achieve their goals, including helping others with her local television series of yoga classes. She was a warm and caring teacher and friend to all that came to know her. Julie moved to Lake Havasu City in 1992. She loved the river and all it had to offer: boating, wake boarding and paddle boarding. Her loving nature surrounded her children and her pets. She greeted all people she met as if they would be a friend for life. Julie will live in our hearts and memories forever. Julie is survived by her parents, Janice and Ron Kahn, and Carter and Kathy Collins; one son, Shelby Erickson; one daughter, Zena Erickson; one sister, Christina Lung; and two step-brothers, Josh Kahn and Ryan Kahn.
