Phyllis Zemplinski, 79, passed away in Lake Havasu City, June 29, 2012. She was born to Eugene and Caroline (Bramorski) Sinner Sept. 18, 1932, in Wauwatosa, Wis.
Phyllis married the love of her life, Casimir "Casey" Zemplinski, Jan. 28, 1956, in Cudahy, Wis. Phyllis had a long and happy life. She worked as a medical secretary in Milwaukee, Wis. before retiring to Lake Havasu City 17 years ago. She was a hard working and dedicated wife, mother, grandmother and sister.
Phyllis enjoyed being a homemaker and was very proud of her family. She loved to spend time with her grandchildren and especially enjoyed family get-togethers.
Phyllis is survived by her husband of 56 years, Casey Zemplinski, of Lake Havasu City; sons, Gregory (Jean) and Mark Zemplinski; daughter, Suza (Octavio "Tavo") Lopez; brother, Eugene J. (Margaret "Dolly") Sinner; grandchildren, Emily "Scout" and Marshall Zemplinski, Casey and Carson Zepp Crandell; step-grandchild, Vanessa Lopez; sister-in-law, Theresa Zemplinski Ratsch; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Caroline and Eugene; as well as a brother, Eugene; and sister, June.
Rosary will be said at 10:30 a.m. with Memorial Mass to follow at 11 a.m. at Our Lady of the Lake Roman Catholic Church. Father Chauncey Winkler will officiate.
