DR. ORAZIO JAMES DeSANTIS, 85, of Prescott, Ariz., and formerly of Tuckahoe, Upper Township, died Thursday at Veterans Administration Hospital in Prescott.
Dr. DeSantis practiced medicine in Millville and Ocean City before his retirement in 1977.
He was a graduate of Villanova University and the St. Louis University School of Medicine.
Dr. DeSantis served in the U.S. Army during World War II and was the recipient of the Bronze Star.
He was a member of the Disabled American Veterans and Military Order of the Purple Heart.
Born in Tuckahoe, Dr. DeSantis lived in Millville and Ocean City before moving to Arizona.
He is survived by his wife, Elice; three sons, Mark of Moscow, Idaho, Marshall of Newport Richie, Fla., and Maren of Lafayette Hill, Pa.; and two daughters, Marion Ament of Ephrata, Wash., and Martha Lawson of Tempe, Ariz.
A Memorial Mass will be held at a later date.
Arrangements are by the Langley Funeral Home, Tuckahoe.
