The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona ~ 07/06/2012 Lisa Chamberlain Edwards van Muijen, 47, died June 28, 2012, as a result of injuries sustained in a rollover automobile accident in Linden. She was born Jan. 9, 1965 in Ogden, Utah to Reed A. and Karen J. Chamberlain. Lisa graduated from Show Low High School in 1983. She lived and worked in the bay area of California for several years. There she met and married Eric René Edwards van Muijen in 1992 and together they had four children: Eric Renaud “Renny”, Karen, Emily and Lucas Reed Edwards van Muijen. They divorced in 2003. Though battling pain and different health problems, Lisa was not a complainer. She loved to read and wrote beautiful letters to her friends and family. She also liked to sew and for several years made her kids’ Halloween costumes from scratch. Lisa was a gourmet cook and was always trying new things. Lisa’s primary concern was her family. She loved her four children and five siblings dearly. She was a sentimental, caring soul and also had a budding interest in family history. Lisa was a person who was very accepting and non-judgmental of others. She had an honest heart and was not afraid to tell it to you like it was, yet was someone who could be incredibly fun-loving and funny. Lisa loved her Heavenly Father and had a testimony of the gospel of Jesus Christ. “We know she is at peace and is together with her Heavenly Father, as well as her brother Scott and her father Reed Chamberlain. We look forward to being together again as a family someday.” Lisa is survived by her four children; companion Mark Basel; mother Karen Chamberlain; sisters: Terrie Watts, Cindy Hess, Robin Stradling and Sheila Lofgreen.
