KUTASI (DR.), Karoly

Billings Gazette March 19, 2003 Dr. Karoly Kutasi, of Billings, passed away at the age of 91 on March 18, 2003, at the Horizon Hospice Home after a fight with lung cancer. Karoly was born April 7, 1911, in Hungary and finished school there, earning a Doctor of Law degree from the University of Pecs. He came to this country in 1952 and worked at the University of Michigan at the Museum of Paleontology as a research photographer. He married Margaret, whom he met in Germany in 1948, in Michigan in 1952. He and Margaret celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary in March 2002. He was gentle soul who loved his family greatly. He is survived by his wife, Margaret; and his two daughters of whom he was extremely proud, Gabriella Decke (Phillip) of Billings and Katalin Kutasi of New York City. Memorial Services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday March 20, at Michelotti-Sawyers Mortuary.
