Charlotte Farmer went to Heaven on Sunday, March 28, 2004.
She was born in Hymore, South Dakota on March 13, 1916.
She graduated from Illinois Wesleyan School of Music in Bloomington, Illinois. Since moving to Sun City in 1977, she has served on the Volunteer Bureau, including three years as President as well as volunteering at Westside Food Bank, Penny-Wise Thrift Store, Boswell Hospital, Sun City Library, Habitat for Humanity, and playing the organ at various retirement and nursing homes. Since moving to Wooddale in 1991, she has been busy providing musical programs for the residents plus volunteering in other capacities.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ray A. Farmer and her daughter, Jan Romero Stevens of Flagstaff, Arizona. She is survived by her sister Elizabeth Langsdale of Sun City, Arizona; her daughter Lang (Ival) Secrest; son-in-law Fred Stevens of Flagstaff, Arizona; four grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
