DAMRON, Daniel Joseph


Arizona Silver Belt, Globe, Arizona Wednesday, July 11, 2012 Daniel Joseph Damron, age 59, entered into rest on June 30, 2012 at his home in Pima. He was born on Feb. 5, 1953 in Safford, Ariz. to Chester and Faye Damron. Daniel went to high school in Globe and graduated from Globe High School in 1972. He was a courtesy clerk at Bashas’ in Thatcher for many years. He enjoyed going to the casino with his dear friend, Evia Hale, and he loved to read books and magazines. One of the highlights of his life is when he was endowed in the Mesa Arizona Temple. He is survived by his cousin, Kathy Kerby; his cousin, Karole (Butch) Ward; one nephew; three nieces; and eight grand nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, Chester and Faye Damron. Services for Daniel were held on Friday, July 6, 2012 at the Pima Stake Center. Daniel was laid to rest in the Thatcher Cemetery.
