GRAVES, Glenn W.


Glenn W. Graves, 83, of Sedona, passed away on Monday, March 29, 2004. He was born May 3, 1920 in Sabetha, Kansas. He was a retired Navy Senior Chief Petty Officer & a veteran of 3 wars, WWII, Korean & Vietnam. He was a member of the Wayside Chapel Sedona Community Church & 1st member of the Advisory Committee at Oak Creek Country Club Estate. His hobbies included electronics, collecting lost golf balls & supporting several casinos. He is survived by his wife, Edie of 23 years. Son: Ron of Long Beach, CA. Daughters: Patty & Diana of Phoenix. Brother: Billy of Pennslyvania & Sister: Dorothy of Texas. 4 grandchildren & 3 great-grandchildren. Services were held on Thursday, April 1, 2004 at the Village Park Baptist Church, 55 Canyon Diablo Rd in the Village of Oak Creek. Services were held in Phoenix on Friday, April 2 at Phoenix Memorial Park Chapel, 200 W. Beardsley. Memorial donations may be made to Village Park Baptist Church, Sedona, Az., Northern AZ Hospice, Cottonwood, AZ. or Sedona Humane Society, Sedona, AZ. Published in the Arizona Republic on 4/1/2004.
