Mitchell will be held at Winslow Desert View Cemetery on June 09, 2012 at 10 a.m. A viewing for family and friends will be available at Greer's Mortuary from 9-9:30 a.m. on this day. Darlene was born in Albion Nebraska with her twin sister. Darlene quietly exited this life for a more abundant life, eternal in the Heavens. After graduating with a bachelor's degree in Health Services from Connors State University in Oklahoma, she continued her career in private practice meeting and caring for so many who loved her and stayed in touch. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Darlene is survived by her sons; John R. Mitchell (Colleen) S.C., Matthew D. Mitchell (Jody) TX, Mark A. Mitchell (Candace) GA, and also three brothers and four sisters. Marie Teeple (Don) CA, Robert J. Long (Rose) CA, Marlene L. Rusnak, Winslow AZ, Paul M Long (Donna) CA, David L. Long (Sharon) OK, Susan K. Driggers (Randy) OK, Sarah M. Robinson (Walt) MO. Darlene was gifted with seven grandchildren and six great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents and one brother William J. Long Jr.
