Jacot will be held Monday, May 28, 2012 at Blue Ridge Community Church at 2:00 PM Kansas Memorial will be held on June 17, 2012 in Eureka, KS. Leland L Jacot, 80, of Happy Jack passed away on May 22, 2012 peacefully surrounded by his family. He was born 11/26/1931, 2nd son of Floyd A. and Clara V. Jacot. He was raised on the family farm in Chautauqua County ,Kansas, Graduated in 1949 from Moline High School. Served in the US Navy from 1951-1955. He was working on the Kansas Turnpike when he met his Wife of 56 years Mary A Francoeur. They were married on 12-30-1955 in Arkansas City Kansas. He had 4 children, 12 grandchildren and 5 great grand children. He has operated Jacot Contracting for the last 31 yrs. Survivors include wife Mary A. Jacot of Happy Jack; daughters Debra M. and husband Mike Murphy of Chandler, AZ. Pam L. and husband Brad Zimmerman of Eureka, KS; Sons Leland J. (Jack) Jacot and Jerome A. (Jerry) Jacot of Happy Jack. AZ; Grandchildren, Blake and Wife Samantha Zimmerman, Ryan M. Zimmerman and Shay A. Zimmerman of Eureka, KS, Alyssa Burt, Laci Burt and Mathew Jacot of Winslow, AZ, Tawyna M. and wife Andrea Worthington and Jessica A. Jacot of Prescott AZ, Tiffany A. Jacot of Happy Jack, AZ. Justin and Tieler Schutze of Winslow, AZ; great grandchildren, Jessie Barnes of Flagstaff, AZ, Brock and Avery Zimmerman of Eureka, KS, Xavier M. Moora and Aiden R. Lee of Winslow, AZ; Brother, Paul and Wife Eva of Moline, KS; sisters, Marjorie and husband Fern Hughes of Collinsville, OK, Marilyn and husband Wayne Powers of Derby, KS and numerous nieces, nephews and many dear friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Floyd and Clara Jacot, Brother Marion Jacot and grandson Robert Michael Barnes. Memorial to Moline High School Alumni Scholarship fund
