LITCHFIELD, Melvin W.

Melvin W. Litchfield, Sr., 94, August 30, 1909 - March 28, 2004. Melvin lived longer than any of his male relatives, going back in history for many generations to the 1630's. Melvin spent several winters in Phoenix with his son Lawrence's family. He had 5 children, 15 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. The surviving children include Mary Millman of Wisconsin Rapids, Cheryl Britton of Athens, GA, Melvin Litchfield Jr. of Underhill, VT, and Lawrence L. of Phoenix. Funeral services were held in Madison, WI on April 1, 2004. Published in the Arizona Republic on 4/1/2004.
