Gary Lynn Ward, 32, of Tempe, a welder, died May 18, 1991. He was born in Salt Lake City and was an Army veteran. Survivors include his parents, Kay Berndt and Wayne Ward; his stepfather, James Berndt; four sisters; three brothers; and grandparents. Visitation Paradise Chapel Funeral Home, 3934 E.
