James Larry "Jamie" Wells, Jr., 32, of Scottsdale, AZ, passed away March 28, 2004. James was born on January 2, 1972 in Jefferson, TX, to Jimmie Sue Perea & James Wells. Mr. Wells was a member of Palestine Christian Church in Palestine, TX. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Jimmy Eugene & Thelma Lucille Edwards and an uncle, Michael Eugene Edwards. He is survived by his mother, Jimmie Sue Perea of Cleveland, TX; his father, James Larry Wells Sr. & wife, Lori Ann of Carthage, TX; daughter, Courtney Jade Wells of Jefferson, TX; son, Brenden Micah Wells of Palestine, TX, fiancee, Tammy Larson of Palestine, TX; sister, Andi Michelle Pittman of Carthage, TX; brothers: Robert Eugene Wells of Palestine, TX; Jesse Lee Wells of Arlington, TX; and Anthony Perea of Cleveland, TX; grandparents: Jimmy & Mildred Wells of Jefferson, TX. A number of Nieces & Nephews & a number of Aunts & Uncles also survive. Visitation was Friday, April 2, 2004 at Haggard-Heaster Funeral Home. Services were held Saturday, April 3, 2004 in the Haggard-Heaster Chapel with Rev. Charles French officiating. Interment at Oakwood Memorial Park. Pallbearers: Jeff Kelly, Chandler Thompson, Justin Whitener, Corbin Hodge, Mike Hughes and Allen Hughes. Honorary Pallbearers: Rex Wall, Richard Bjork and Jerry Alves. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Christian Motorcycle Association in Hatfield, AR. Published in the Arizona Republic on 4/2/2004.
