ANGELONE, John Hugo

John Hugo Angelone, 63, born in Cleveland, Ohio, with residences in Scottsdale, AZ, San Diego, CA and Bonaparte, IA, left us on April 1st, 2004. John, affectionately known as "the King", lived his life with no regrets. Those who knew him well would say that he was dynamic. His love for his family and friends, his compassionate nature and generous, loving spirit defined his life. John shared the last 45 years of his life with his wife, Jeri, whom he loved with all his heart and soul. The two were blessed in their years together with three children, Lisa Marie (now deceased), Johnny (daughter-in-law, Melisa) and Michael, and two grandchildren, Johnny Jr. and Frankie. John is also survived by his sister, Patricia Mohre and her family, of Solon, OH. Those touched by John felt honored to be part of his life. Strangers were embraced and quickly became friends. Friends were held close and forever cherished. Visitation and services were held at Messinger Pinnacle Peak Mortuary (8555 E. Pinnacle Peak Road). In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Valley Cancer Pain Foundation, attn: Maria Hoffman, 10460 N. 92nd Street #300, Scottsdale, AZ 85258, or Hospice of the Valley, Attn: Fund Development, 1510 East Flower Street, Phoenix, AZ 85014-5656. He lived! Published in the Arizona Republic from 4/3/2004 - 4/4/2004.
