Amada Olivas Baeza, age 91, of Miami, Ariz., passed away peacefully at home with her family and caregiver at her side on July 14, 2012. She was born March 12, 1921, in Alpine, Texas, to Urbano and Angelita Olivas.
Amada married Lauro R. Baeza in 1939, and the union produced four children, Mary Guerra (Louie), Angie Lopez (Ronnie), Jose Lauro Baeza (Ruth) and Lorenzo Baeza (Rebecca). She was a homemaker and a member of Our Lady of the Blessed Sacrament Church.
Amada had a great sense of humor and was witty with her words, making up rhymes that brought a smile to everyone. Her family was most important to her, and she cherished the time spent with her children and grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Lauro, and her siblings.
She had seven grandchildren, Paul Jesus Lopez, Marcos Antonio Lopez, Brian De La Torre, Andrea Hernandez, Jose Lauro Baeza, Jr., Lorenzo Olivas Baeza, Jr. and Bianca Noel Avalos; and eight great-grandchildren, Glory Hernandez, Caleb Hernandez, Jaden Avalos, Elijah Baeza, Janessa Avalos, Ava Lopez, Benicio De La Torre and Milo De La Torre; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.

Visitation will be held Thursday, July 19, 2012, at 9 a.m. at Our Lady of the Blessed Sacrament Church, 844 W. Sullivan St., in Miami, Ariz. Rosary will follow at 9:30 10a.m.
Interment will be at Pinal Cemetery, Central Heights, Ariz.
