West Valley View, Avondale, Arizona Tuesday, July 17, 2012 Derek S. Boston, 49, of Phoenix and formerly of Avondale died July 3, 2012, in Phoenix of complications from an illness. Mr. Boston was born Nov. 3, 1962, in Akron, Ohio, to Leeobra E. and Ruth L. He moved to Arizona in 2006 and was a heavy equipment operator. He is survived by his wife, Delinda; one daughter, Kassandra L. of Falmouth, Mass.; one son, Derek of Falmouth, Mass.; his father, Leeobra E.; three sisters, Linita Kinnear of Mashpee, Mass., Naomi of New Bedford, Mass., and India Pointeria of Mashpee, Mass.; and one brother, Eric L. of Baltimore. A memorial service is planned for a later date in Falmouth, Mass. Arrangements were made by Avenidas Funeral Chapel in Avondale.
