Arizona Daily Sun, Flagstaff, Arizona Wednesday, July 18, 2012 Dr. John Louis Booth May 15, 1933 ~ June 30, 2012 John went to be with our Lord on Saturday, June 30, 2012 after a brief battle with cancer at home in Munds park, AZ. Though absent from the body, he is present with his Father basking in the joy of his salvation. John is survived by his loving wife of 53 years; Ann, his children; Mark (wife Christina) & Robin, and grandchildren; Davi, Hunter, Sam, Ben, & Harper. John was born May 15th 1933, to Melba and Irwin Booth in Danville, VA. John became an Eagle Scout at age 16. He served as a missionary in Holland prior to returning to his studies at the University of Richmond. He received his doctorate from Dallas Theological Seminary and completed post graduate studies at Arizona State University. He entered the ministry pastoring churches in Washington, Illinois, and Arizona. In 1980, John became the Director of Paradise Valley Counseling, Inc. from which he retired in 2010. Throughout his career, John also taught at Grand Canyon University, Southwest Bible College, Talbot Seminary, and authored numerous books. John greatly loved his family and dedicated most of his life to pursuing goals in that direction.
