Sacaton -- Delbert E. Allison, 53, director of the tribal alcoholism treatment program on the Salt River Indian Reservation, died Nov. 28, 1983, at Desert Samaritan Hospital in Mesa.
He was a lifelong resident of Sacaton and had worked as a training counselor and started a halfway house for men on the reservation.
Survivors include his wife, Georgiana; daughters, Debra and Noreen; sons, Robert, Ronald, Marvin and Delmer; stepchildren, Linda and Angela Parsons, Ann and Alvin Vavages; mother, Susie Fulton; three sisters, and three grandchildren.
Services at the Pima First Presbyterian Church.
