DAVENPORT, Norban Earl

Mohave Daily News, Mohave Valley, AZ - Published in Mohave Daily News Online from July 17 to July 24, 2012 - Norban Earl Davenport, age 79, a 28-year resident of Bullhead City, Ariz., died Saturday, July 7, 2012., in Las Vegas, Nev. He was born January 10, 1933, in Salem, Ky. He was a inventor and mechanic. Norban was preceded in death by one son; his mother and father; one brother; and one sister. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Janice; four sons, Larry and John Brodie Davenport of Kentucky, Norban Davenport of Colo., and Guy Allen Davenport of Nev.; two daughters, Almetta Gail Davenport-Strange of Ind., and Tammie S. Davenport-Depenbrock of Bullhead City; four sisters; 13 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
