Area Native Dies In Arizona
Joseph Bradley Wight passed away Monday, Sept. 16 at the age of 74 at the Veterans Hospital in Prescott, Ariz. The cause of death was cancer.
He was born in Lewistown on March 6, 1922 to Carl and Susie (Kies) Wight. He received his schooling and grew up in Lewistown.
He served in the Navy during World War II, after which time he moved to Bozeman and to California.
He is survived by his wife, Jonnie, of Yucca, Ariz., two step-daughters; Debbie Carlson of California and Gayle Vossemayer of Green Valley, Ariz; one brother, Ray White of Mesa, Ariz., and one sister, Magdalene Hash of Princeton, Idaho.
Funeral services were held in Prescott, Thursday, Sept. 19,

Joseph Wight
Joseph B. Wight, 78, died Monday, Sept. 16, 1996, at the Prescott Veterans Affairs Medical Center. He was born March 6, 1922, in Montana.
Mr. Wight moved to Arizona 22 years ago from California. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II.
Survivers include his wife, Jonnie Wight of Yucca; stepdaughters, Debbie and Gail; one brother and one sister.
Funeral services were at 3:30 p.m. Thursday at the Hampton Funeral Home, 240 S. Cortez St. in Prescott.
Hampton Funeral Home assisted the family with arrangements.
