Today's News-Herald, Lake Havasu City, AZ - Published Sunday, July 22, 2012 - Ina Luverne Perry, a former Lake Havasu City resident, died in her sleep July 15, 2012 at her daughter’s home in Thousand Oaks, Calif. at the wonderful age of 91. Ina was born Feb. 12, 1921 to Cyrus and Clara Jellen of Spooner, Wis. In 1941 she married Lynn W. Perry and moved to Long Beach, Calif. It was here that she and Lynn lived until 1990 when they retired to Lake Havasu City. Ina loved many outdoor activities, especially camping in their motorhome. She also enjoyed cooking, baking and sewing. She could also knit or crochet anything asked of her. In her later years she enjoyed the Senior Center where she went to exercise class and the daily lunches. Ina was preceded in death by her husband, Lynn, in 2005. She is survived by her daughter, Janice (Rob) Johanson, of Thousand Oaks, Calif.; daughter, Judy (John) Thuneman, of Lake Havasu City; her four grandchildren, Jill (Scott) Sandlin, of Heber City, Utah; Jeffrey (Jamie) Thuneman, of Lake Havasu City; Jason (Lia) Thuneman, of Phoenix; and Todd Johanson, of Thousand Oaks, Calif. She was also blessed with seven great-grandchildren, Tyler, Rilee, Tanner, MaKayla, Taren, Stellan and Landon. May she rest in peace. Services will take place at Mount Olive Church, 2570 Havasupai Blvd. July 27 at 3 p.m. Memorial gifts may be made to the Mount Olive Lutheran Church, 2570 Havasupai Blvd., Lake Havasu City, AZ 86403.
